Ann's Pottery - Purple/Blue Glaze

The purple/blue glazed pots are made with 3 overlapping glazes. More than any of my other glazes, it has the most variation from firing to firing. There are times when the purple comes out as another shade of blue. While it's very popular for dinner sets, customers must be aware of it's idiosyncrasies and not expect all the pieces to match exactly. The variations are part of the appeal of this glaze. I enjoy the full range of it's colors.
